All store warehouses have latitude and longitude configured. Fulfillment group assignment has the relvant stores included. However, when we do inventory lookup, it doesn't sort from closest to farthest when selecting Geo location sorting. Which I understand is also the default sorting. Other sorting like name and store number work fine. Any help in getting this resolved would be greatly appreciated.
You might want to check HQ side configurations. For store warehouse, please make sure the location information is properly configured in the primary address of the operating unit that is associated with the store. For non-store warehouse, the location information is defined in the warehouse address.
