Need to update Workflow

I have a workflow that sends out an email to clients prior to their contract renewal.  This workflow is triggered when the contract is created and stays in a waiting status until the renewal approaches and the email is sent.  The issue is that we recently changed our contact email and phone number.  We updated the auto generated email on the workflow but it is still sending out the old one.  How do we fix this?  We currently have over 4,000 in process "waiting" workflows.

    You need to cancel the waiting workflows and manually re-execute them.

    What is the best way to know which records need to have the workflow re-triggered for once they are cancelled?

    maybe try an advanced find query to fetch all the cancelled records and then run the workflow

    Hi Ben,

    1. Fetch all contracts that have a waiting workflows that had started on or before the workflow was updated. Select all contract records and Run Workflow.

    2. Cancel all waiting workflows that had started on or before the workflow was updated.

    you have to re tigger your workflow and remove the the waiting workflows.
