When I open a window using Xrm.Utility.openEntityForm can I remove the site map (v8)

I'm opening a new form window with Xrm.Utility.openEntityForm

Is there a way to remove the site map in the new window? 

I can do it fine with v9, but unfortunately I'm stuck working with v8

    I believe you can do it using DOM injection but as you may know, it's unsupported because I'm not aware of any supported way.
