Movement Worksheet Error

Hello All.  I was hoping you guys can help shed some light in this weird problem I am running into.  When we go to Movement Worksheet (Page ID 7351), click onto Get Bin Contents.  Then select a value in the To Zone....Select a Value in the 'To Bin Content'......when I tab out of 'To Bin Content' after selecting a value, Nav crashes with a message 'The server net.tcp://<server name>/7046/<nav service name>/Service is either unavailable or your connection has been lost.  Do you want to attempt to reconnect?'  It's really weird because this used to work.  I checked our test server and it's okay.  It's only the production server.  Note that our test server has the Nav 2013 R2 patch.  So I thought maybe if I access the production server form our Nav Test server, it will be okay, in case it's a Nav software issue....but it still doesn't work.

So I am thinking maybe it's data related.  If pointing against our Prod server, it crashes.  But against the test server (db backend), it works.

Any thoughts? I tried commenting the 'On Validate' method of 'To Bin Content' but it still errored out.  I also deleted the User Personalization of Bin and Bin Content (I didn't see one for 7351) but to no avail.

I would appreciate insights from you experts!

    Hi,

Could you check whether your Bin Content contains any special characters in the "Item No.", "Bin Code", "Zone Code" etc?

Try to delete the object metadata, user metadata for that page and try again and other thing to try is changing the profile, sometimes profile metadata causes weird issues.

Hi Mahesh.  I did find a forward slash (/) in the bin code column.  That's a special char, right?  So I am going to restore this db in my test server and remove the slash.  I hope that fixes the problem.  I am feeling hopeful. :)

Hi Suresh.  Yes, I thought maybe that's a problem too.  So I went into Delete User Personalization and deleted any profiles that have page ID 7302 (Bin Content) and 7351 (Movement Worksheet).  Still the same.  Are there any other steps I didn't do.  To delete the obj metadata, just go to Delete User Personalization, right?  Please advise.

HI Suresh and Mahesh....well, I removed the slash character from BinCode field but that didn't make a difference.  I also deleted the record where PageID=7351 in the Object Metadata table plus deleted the all records where PageID=7351 in the User Metadata table.  PageID 7351 is the MOvement Worksheet that crashes after I select a value in the To Bin Code.  ANy other ideas?

Suresh! It worked! After I responded to you, I went back to the Object Metadata and removed the record for Table 7326 (source of 7351), then removd 7351 Page record....recompiled the Table 7326...then Page 7351.  And it now works!!!! Yayy! Thank you sooooo very much!
