Creating Interactions for Multiple Contacts

Posted on by 45

Looking for advice on the best approach to allow our staff to create the same Interaction for multiple Contacts.  I know one way to do this is by creating Segments, however it is a bit of an involved procedure.  I would like to be able to create a process whereby the Contact list is filtered to a subset of Contacts or even simpler would be to choose several Contacts from Contact List page with the Select More feature and then select from Actions have an option to Create Interaction for Multiple Contacts.  A simple example of when this would be used is when one of our sales staff has a conference call with multiple people (contacts).  We would like to record an Interaction -  Phone Call  - for each of the Contacts without having to go into each Contact to create the Interaction.  My thoughts are that I might need to create a duplicate of the page Create Interaction and modify it to accept a filtered list of Contacts.  Any insight or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi

I believe you are right. You need a development for this as you mentioned. Your idea works. Also, if you created that page then you can add it to Contact List then let user select contact then use the function. This way all selected can move to that filter. I am not developer and do not know how that can be done. But I saw example in different pages.
