Active Accounts View in CRM

Probably a really silly question but have deactivated some of our CRM accounts, but they are still showing in the Active Accounts view.

Is this because they still have active contacts associated with them and if so, how do I get around this ? We still want the contacts to remain active.

I have looked at customising the view, but cannot see a simple way to filter the accounts using this criteria.

Many thanks

    Hi,

You will need to reassign all related records for this user to another user or team in order for them to show as truly deactivated.

    Regards

you can open the view in customizations and check the filter criteria , If you haven't filter the status equal active your view shows all accounts.

Hope you know how to do customizations on views.

Not sure if you are referencing the Child Account view here on the Account form? Or whether you are talking about seeing Inactive Accounts in the main Active Accounts view? If the former then I think this is something legacy on the form for showing Child Accounts out of the box as the view columns it displays do not actually correspond to the view columns in the Active Accounts view, which leads you to believe something else is happening in the backend.

The way to get around this is to rename the sub-grid label (just add _subgrid to the end). Then change the view to a different view and then published. Check the account that it was picking up the correct columns in the child account view and also only showing "Active" accounts and no longer the "Inactive" accounts too. Then change the view for the Sub-Grid back to the "Active Accounts" view and published again. This time it should be picking up the correct columns in the Active Accounts view and also only showing Active Accounts as expected.

Probably just some strange legacy out of the box behavior going on
