Hi Rahul.p,

Please have a look at this DOC:

It introduced the cloud architecture of D365.

Finance and Operations apps Contains many components such as Azure SQL Database, IIS web service ( AOS hosted), SSRS reporting, Batch service and Data Management service.

So, it is Three tier architecture.

First Tire: Database

Second Tire: IIS web service

Third Tire: Web browser

And in cloud architecture there could be multiple ways of processing models like SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and D365FO isgoing through that evolution

Hi Rahul,

Yes, this is the component of Finance and operations apps that we can see.

Almost all SaaS software will adopt this architecture now.

The cloud architecture of D365 makes it more dependent on Azure and better integrated with Microsoft products.
