Limit user access on a particular company

Is there a simple way to limit users from accessing a particular company? We have multiple companies within a single instance and we only want a handful on users to access a certain one.

yes, you can select company name against user permission sets in user card.

Most users need access to more than one company so I cannot limit them to only one. I just need to prevent users from accessing a particular company we no longer use but need to keep available for Accounting & IT Depts.

Previous suggestion is still valid. You just have more than one line with that permission and then a different company value
