Invalid user after BC upgrade (configurations not modified) [BC20 to BC24]

Hi all,
i had a BC20 OnPrem envinronment with Windows Authentication that used Kerberos.
I upgraded it to BC24 keeping the same configurations (also for Kerberos) but now i cannot sign in to the web client because BC tell me that my user is an invalid user.

I am sure that the upgrade was succesfull because if i change the authentication method to NavUserPassword i can log in and i can see the migrated data correctly.

With the same configurations in BC20 everything worked correctly. I also tried to delete all users to be able to try to log in and then use the classic "Add me as administrator" on the users page but nothing, I always get the same type of problem.

Do you have any suggestion? Has anything changed from BC20 to BC24 from MS regarding the way delegations are configured?

Many thanks to anyone helps me.

Davide

Hi @gdrenteria, thanks for the answer but i also tried before.
i cannot accesso also without any user configured by SQL or Powershell. i obtain the same error.

Only if i change authentication type to NavUserPassword on configurations and set by SQL new specific user i can access but we need to set Windows Authentication

we thinkthat the problem is on kerberos configuration but we cannot dinf the problem. Is something changed from BC20 version?

    Thanks Davide

    Hi,

Below suggestion which I seen past

Reconfigure Authentication Settings: Although you have kept the same configurations, it may be worth re-checking or resetting the authentication settings on BC24 and also Check Permissions for the Web Client

    Thanks, Ramesh

I don't there is any change in the Authentication between BC20 and BC24 just make sure if that user has all the permissions to access BC24 and also the license is updated to use BC24, sometime restarting helps
