Is it possible to actually filter a standard lookup field so that it only shows a certain view on a form.
I know its possible on Custom entities.
Thanks in advance.

Wayne is right, you can't adjust the customer field. You can remove customer and replace with ParentContact and ParentAccount fields. Then create a business rule that makes one of them disappear if the other contains data. With that you could configure the lookups to limit views.
Let me know if this helps.
The Customer is a special kind of lookup, because it looks at both Accounts and Contacts at the same time. Filters won't work on it like it can even on other out-of-the-box fields because of its special behavior.
Alright man, thing is the field Im dealing with is actually the Customer(customerid) and here is the photo, I just cannot influence the default view for this specific field. And seems only javascript might do it but my requirement is just standard method which does not involve code.
Hi Junior, thanks for reaching out.
You can set a lookup on a form to filter based off another related lookup like only show contacts that have a company name matching the customer account lookup.
Also under additional properties on the lookup properties when editing a form you can select which views are displayed. That will lock down to one.
