I wold like til make a tranformation rule, where if the data imported into Data Excha. Def. is empty/nothing like here Note><Note
replace this with a sign/letter/number.

    Have you looked into using a regex or a custom definition as documented here?
    I do not have any code samples at hand to cover your exact scenario.
    But I still hope this documentation might help,
    Or maybe you can provide a sample data file?
