Hi,

We are using dynamics GP web services 10 with SQL Server 2005...and now we want to move that to SQL Server 2008 R2. How can we do it without re-installing the same. Please provide the steps to change the DB server keeping the existing installation.I tried changing the server value in the web config file unfortunately didn't went through.

Can anyone guide me on this with all the necessary steps and activities .

Regards

Most people start over when they do this because in newer versions you can use a SQL database to store your data. If you are moving servers you are going to have no choice but to start over.
