Using Sites entity with new URS

Hello,

We are finalizing our move to the new UCI apps for our dynamics 365 for customer service environment but I am having problems getting the Site entity to work in our booking process. I have added the URS and Core Services solutions to our environment as shown in the image below and suggested in this article: https://community.dynamics.com/365/f/dynamics-365-general-forum/372686/lookup-field-goes-grey-when-i-click-in-it/985498#985498

This allowed us to start using the Facilities/Equipment entity but I sill get this error: The Site entity isn't valid for the chosen client, and won't be shown at runtime.

The Site entity isn't valid for the chosen client, and won't be shown at runtime.

Is there something else we need to do to get access back to this entity?

    RE: Using Sites entity with new URS

    For anyone else that may run into this issue and come across this thread here's what solution worked for us.

    Contacted Dynamics support and they were able to run a script in the background to update the "IsVisibleInMobileClient" Value variable to true. Below is the exact response from dynamics support. Hope this helps!

    Regarding my findings above, it turns out that the issue is because of the following:

    1. For your environment, web API query shows that the Site entity is not visible in Unified Interface:

    https://{{OrganizationURL}}.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.1/EntityDefinitions(LogicalName='site')?$select=IsVisibleInMobileClient

    {

    1. @odata.context: "https://{{OrganizationURL}}.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.1/$metadata#EntityDefinitions(IsVisibleInMobileClient)/$entity",

    2. MetadataId: "fe123477-e0c0-458e-ad50-a79ed5fff928",

    3. IsVisibleInMobileClient:

    {

    1. Value: false,

    2. CanBeChanged: false,

    3. ManagedPropertyLogicalName: "canmodifymobileclientvisibility"

    }

    }

    There is a script available on our end that can be ran to change the value from false to true.

    Yes, I added the entity to the app but it says that the site entity is not available for the chosen client and will not be shown at runtime. I had the same issue with other URS resources until we added the URS solution but then the error went away on them (facility/equipment) and they started working.

    Hello Devon,

    Is the entity added to the App or did you add the entity to the App that you are using?
