Inventory Dimensions in the transactions showing lower case but warehouse setup shows UPPER Case

Hi Folks,

I am facing a strange issue in the Inventory transactions and Inventory on hand page for an Inventory dimension which is showing Lower case while rest of the other warehouses are showing in UPPER CASE. Did anyone encounter a similar issue and know how can we fix this issue? I cannot rename the warehouse as it already shows in Upper case. When I create a new transaction e.g., Adjustment or Movement journal for this warehouse the dimensions shows in upper case but when I refresh the page or validate the transaction it again reflects the Lower case. Would really appreciate the response.

What is the exact issue? Is it only cosmetic? In that case, you can leave it as is as it does not impact the Dynamics 365 application.
If you insist fixing it, you can check what values for the warehouse are stored in the table InventDim, field InventLocationId. If these are lower case, you can try to write a script changing it to upper case.

    Hi,

I think that it will not impact your transcations or your processus in Dynamics 365.

You can rename your warehouse also, Just follow these steps :

Step 1 : Navigate to your warehouse record
Step 2 : Click on Options > Record info as shown in the figure below

Step 3 : Click on Rename Button as shown in the figure below :
Step 4 : Just mention the new name (Upercase)

    Than click Ok.

    Hope that's helpful for you.

Please mark answer as verified if that's answer to your question.

    Hi,
This should have no impact on the use of the FO system, and there should be no real impact on functions or processes, etc. If you want to unify your DA for the sake of user experience and aesthetics, you can first go to the database to check whether the stored data is uppercase or lowercase, and then carry out custom development to standardize the data.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
