How to block cash drawers from opening for No Sale

Hello,

Is there anyway to block cash drawers from opening when No Sale is chosen?

I am only allowing cashiers to use No Sale with a reason code for cancelling transactions but I don't want the cash drawers to open.

    From F1 Help: F8 No Sale

    Press F8 to perform a no sale, i.e., pop open the cash drawer without completing a sales transaction. Only cashiers that have the privilege to perform "no sales" will be able to use this command.

    This F-key function is designed to open the drawer for reasons other than a sale such as Make Change, etc..

    Since it can be pressed at any time it does not have any bearing on cancelling a sale in progress.

    You can prevent cashiers from performing No Sale or aborting transactions under cashier rights.

    You can also enable printing of No Sale receipts under POS options which will be saved to the journal.

    a No Sale will always open the cash drawer,  since by definition of "No Sale"  means I don't need to perform a sale just pop the cash drawer as long as one is setup within RMS.  

    You could instead you the ESC key to cancel a sale.
