I came accross an issue in the contoso environment regarding ATP. I logged this to MS but they can not reproduce it in there contoso, so I assume it's somewhere a parameter, just don't know where to start looking.
PO for 200 ea with delivery date within 2 weeks (18/feb)
delivery date control is ATP with timefence of 30days
reservation is set to manual
I create SO1 for 80 ea, Delivery date is auto calculated on 18/feb as expected
I create SO2 for 100 ea, Delivery date is auto calculated on 18/feb as expected
I create SO3 for 70 ea, Delivery date is auto calculated to march, on ATP timefence +1 as expected.
Now I decide to take SO3 as a priority and I mark the 70 ea to the PO and put the delivery date manually (or via simulate dates) to 18/feb
When I now go to SO1 my contoso is giving me my order is moved out of time fence (to march) because he sees order 2 there that will take the quantity
When I look at order SO2 it's also moved out of time fence because he sees order 1 that will take the quantity.
For the person at MS support, order 1 remained on 18/feb and only order 2 was moved to march as I would expect.
But no idea why this is not what I'm seeing, it' a std environment without customizations.
