Any updates on rollup activity views for more entities?

Currently, in the relationship properties we can configure that activities from a child entity should roll up to the activity views at the parent contact or account. But that option is greyed out if any other entity is the parent entity. Any word on whether this is getting expanded?

We are also eagerly waiting for that option to enable Rollup view for any parent entity relationship with activities. This will really help to see all the activities in single place like subgrid or social wall.

But the original idea behind this concept is Customer Insights, so all the activites wrt Customer (Account/Contact) can be shown by rolling up.

Let’s see if MS opening up the door in future releases. I will search for uservoice idea & vote for it.

Hi Allison Walters,

You can only enable Rollup Views for Activities when either account, contact or opportunity is the primary entity. I have not heard of any plans to expand the selection of entities.
