I would like a Summary Sales Report that includes "Company" field. We participated in a homeschool fair last year, where we added "IDEA" to the Company name for each customer we sold to. We are doing the fair again this year and I would like to see a summary of all items sold to "IDEA" customers.

I cannot find any stock reports where "company" is a field.

Hi Ed - Do you have anyone who is familiar with Crystal Reports or a similar software program? These programs can be used to create custom reports in RMS that can be saved in the "memorized" reports in RMS Manager. Your Microsoft Dynamics RMS Partner may be able to help as well. If you don't have a lot of IDEA entries to modify one way to accomplish your goal would be to edit those accounts and add -IDEA to the end of the account number. For example, change account 1000202 to 1000202-IDEA.
Then you can run any sales report with Account# filter set to Contains IDEA.

I found two reports that list sales totals and include a Company filter. The Top Customers Report includes a Date Sold filter while the Customer List Detail report shows total sales to date.
You will find custom reports under Store Operations Manager, Reports, Custom after installation. Close Manager and start it again if you don't see them.

Memorized-IDEA by Item Detailed Sales R.qrp, groups by Item includes Company & Account #, all filters as per Sales Detail report.

Memorized-IDEA by Company Detailed Sales.qrp, groups by Company as above.

Thank you RMS Wizard.

I currently own the customized reports from DRS, but was unable to generate any reports containing both "Company" and "summary sales". Specifically, I am wanting to know the description and quantity of all items sold to IDEA customers during the event. I reviewed both reports, but neither gives me the results I am needing.

I have created a rather obvious (now) solution by simply filtering to the POS we used at the Fair over the 2 day event.

I appreciate you taking the time and your suggestions. They got me to the right area and helped me with my solution.

Glad you resolved your report issue.

The reports I suggested only show total sales, but another DRS report appears to meet your needs. It is called Sales Commission Report. You'll have to enable the columns you want and rearrange them. You can filter by Company IDEA and Date sold. The report will list sales by customers including line item details and summary sales totals.
