Dynamics SL General Ledger Year End Closing running endless but fail to close

I having a problem with GL Year End closing, (01.560.00). The process is running endlessly but it seems that it is not doing the job. After 30 mins or so I end the task and re-run the process and it is still the same.

This happen to one of the company. Another company was OK, the GL Year End closing complete in less than 5 seconds.

No error message and no log file generated in Dynamics SL.

    This is usually because of the triggers FRX adds to your database.  The simplest solution is usually:

    Try dropping the FRX related triggers, then run the close, then run the scripts supplied with FRX to rebuild the triggers.

    Sorry I don't have the specific triggers that need to be dropped handy.  Maybe if this post rings a bell for someone else, they might be able to fill in that gap.

    I think there might be a knowledge base artical about this.  You should try searching customer or partner source.

    All,

    Support recommends the Server Based Indexing scripts that are included with FRx SP9.  You don't need to apply the entire service pack.  Just run the SBI scripts included in the download of FRx SP9

    I got this file from my supplier, FRx_65_67_Server_Based_Index_Scripts_Combined.sql

    And it solve the problem.
