I am getting error message while updating BC version 26.0 to 26.1.

During the scheduled update of our UAT_Sandbox environment from Business Central version 26.0.30643.32100 to 26.1.33404.33834, the operation failed with the following error:
Error: Update failed with an internal error FirstPartyUpgradeLogic and is being investigated.
Details:

Environment: UAT_Sandbox

Microsoft Entra Tenant ID: a576806b-72a6-4abe-be79-5b955da77ead

Operation ID: ad704389-8cf8-45de-9ff5-f93701fc1723

Custom Date Selected: Yes

Requested Action:

Hi,

Might custom extensions is not compitible with version 26.1 and prevent update. When updates fails microsoft send notification email with error details. please check email with more details and resolve issues

It might be helpful to check whether any extensions are causing conflicts by reviewing logs or disabling them temporarily to see if the update proceeds successfully.

How many custom extensions do you have, do you have this luxury to uninstall the custom and then try?

Upgrade to 24.0.16410.17628 failed - FirstPartyUpgradeLogic

Hello,

As per my opinion you should raise a support ticket with Microsoft (if not already automatically triggered) and provide the Operation ID and tenant details to expedite resolution. In the meantime, avoid retrying the update until the issue is officially addressed.

This is obviously a Microsoft standard issue. I suggest you try again after a while. (You can also submit a SR to Microsoft)
Or when 26.2 comes out, skip 26.1 and upgrade directly to 26.2.
