Reports for Legal Entities with Different Fiscal Years

Hello,

I need to create a report that combines the results for 10 different legal entities, half of which have a 12/31/22 calendar year end and the other half have a 6/30/23 year end.  I am new to Management Reporter so this is not going so well.  In my research, I see where I have to create a column for each entity and use the reporting unit field to restrict the column to each entity while adjusting my base years.  I have tried this many different ways and am unable to get results for any company other than the base company. Maybe I have my Tree set up incorrectly? Any help would be appreciated as I have to have these reports done by the end of the year.  Thanks in advance!

    Hi KellmoGo,

    I am having similar issue right now as well. The tree is not the problem.

    YTD has some issues while consolidating companies in different financial periods.

    I suggest you use the change the company you are running as default. Eg. im assuming you are running as @Any or one of the legal entities where end is 12/31/22 change this to any of the other type entities ending with 6/30/23.

    Next in the column def change all the entities where end is 12/31/22 as

    Financial Year= BASE+1

    Period = BASE-6

    Make sure Report Definition (Settings)>Other>Consolidate = Rollup by using defauly company period number 

    PS if this doesnt work change the setting choice to roll up by using end date instead. It should work.

    Only issue i have is why cant get the same output running the report as a 12/31/22 entity !@#!@#!@#!@
