CREATING A SECOND OWNER FIELD

Hello everyone,

I came across an old post on another forum that suggests you can create a second "owner" attribute, by creating a custom attribute, and then creating relationships to the user entity.

Can anyone help me with the detail of this. I am familiar with customizing entities, but I am unsure of exactly what the relationship should look like.

Hi.

There no posibility to create second owner field, but you can create relationship between your entity and systemuser entity, where systemuser is a primary entity and place lookup field to the form. To do it read following:
throuth web interface go Settings-Customization-Customize Entities - in the list of entities search your entity, open it, go to the N:1 Relationships, click New Many-to-1 Relationship, fill all required fields, click Save and Close. Open Forms and Views section on entity customization form, search Form, Open it, click Add Fields, search field which you've created (new lookup with systemuser selection), select Tab and Section for this field and click OK.
