Error on document.createElement() in javascript

Hi Aoa all,

     How can I remove this error in javascript web resource on crm 2011 online. Here is simple line of code which causes error.

var addDiv = document.createElement("<div style='overflow-y:auto; height:80px; border:1px #6699cc solid; background-color:;' />");

Here is the error window.

    Hi, can you make sure that the sign: " and ' are not using uncommon character? Usually if copy paste from statement that's using some fonts (not Arial, Calibri, nor Segoe UI), will give you like unrecognized character.

    I found the solution. By replacing the line of code

    var addDiv = document.createElement("<div style='overflow-y:auto; height:80px; border:1px #6699cc solid;

    background-color:#ffffff;' />");

    with this one. Error is fixed.

           var addDiv = document.createElement("div");

           addDiv.style.overflowY = "auto";

           addDiv.style.height = "80px";

           addDiv.style.border = "1px #6699cc solid";

           addDiv.style.background = "#ffffff";

    I think declaration of tag with angle brackets in crm 2011 web resource is not compatible. That's why these error were occured.
