Error: "An error has occurred. Could not open the "company. Access is denied to company 'My Company".

I am receiving the following error message when logging into Dynamics 365 for Financials:  "An error has occurred. Could not open the "company. Access is denied to company 'My Company". 

I get to the login screen (login.microsoft.com), enter my work email address and password, then it takes me to the O:365 screen (portal.office.com).

Then I choose Dynamics 365 from the Home menu and it takes me to the DYnamics 365 home screen ([company domain].financials.dynamics.com) and I see the ribbon with the Office tiles, Dynamics 365 app name, Financials on the left and the user, help and settings on the right.  In the middle of the screen I am presented with the error message:

"An error has occurred.

Could not open the "company. Access is denied to company 'My Company". 

with a -> restart button which directs me back to the same place.

Any idea what is causing this error and how to fix it?

    I'm using the global admin account who is supposed to have the SUPER access but maybe I made a mistake when I ask to start the trial with my own data?

    Do you have an Admin account that can access the site?  Whoever originally signed up for Financials would need to log in and give you access as they are the only person who will originally have SUPER access to everything.

    There isn't any way to reset the settings without accessing the site.

    Use the URL provided above to access CRONUS first and make sure your permissions are setup correctly per the video.

    Hi there, I got exactly the same issue.

    I was trying to start financials for a fresh demo with my own personal data but I just can't connect anymore and I got the message: "

    An error has occurred

    Could not open the '' company. Access is denied to company 'My Company'."
    Is there any way to reset the settings?

    I am able to go directly to CRONUS with the above link, and I see the "start trial" and other popups like I am a new user, which is good.

    I watched the video. When I go to the waffle, select Admin, I am taken to a screen that says "ready to become the admin for <tenet url>

    Perhaps someone else at my company signed up for O365 or D365 from this domain?  the instructions say to add settings to a DNS server, so i'm guessing it was never setup correctly to begin with?  if there is an admin user/password for our company we do not know what it is so is there a way to reset it?
