A client of ours who is about to go live has repeatedly shared concerns about performance issues and delays in Dynamics 365 for Financials.
It starts with the cyan splash screens with branding that is displayed after entering credentials to log in. At times, it takes longer than 30 seconds to get past it. There are issues that surface in other areas as well. We have also found issues when working in the Report Layout Selections and Custom Report Layout screens.
To my knowledge, there is nothing that a partner / CSP can do to address this concern besides reporting the issue to Microsoft. Or is there? In a NAV on Azure deployment, we would throw more compute resources at it, but here our hands are tied.
With more customers signing up for Dynamics 365 for Financials every day, I advise Microsoft to pay special attention to stay on top of performance / service quality and address performance issues quickly before the product develops a bad reputation for being sluggish.
