Report Writer - Just want to add Bin Number

I'm VERY new to Report Writer...but, should be able to pick it up easy enough. I have an existing report (BM Assembly Posting Journal) that I want to add Bin Number to. I see Bin Number in the Global Fields, but not anywhere accessible with anything linked to the current report. Can someone give me the steps I need to follow to get this field on my report? I'm hoping once I've done this once, I'll get it down what needs to be done in the future! Thanks in advance!

    Jason,

    You may have to create a relationship between betwen the report's main table, and another trnsaction table that has Bin information. I Report Writer, with no report open,

    • Look for 'BM Assembly Posting Journal'
    • Click to open in the dialog that opens, click 'Relationships  >> New  '
    • Choose an appropriate 'Secondary table' (that has Bin Information)
    • Link then up , and click OK
    • Back to the Report Writer's Main Window, click on Reports
    • Open your report
    • In the Report Definition Dialog, click on tables
    • Select the 'BM Assembly Posting Journal'
    • Highlight it, and click New
    • Pick the table that you added in the Relationship
    • Click Ok
    • On the Toolbox, you new table should be available in the table list
    • Pick the field(s)  that you want.

    I saw that. However, that field is "blank" for us for some reason. I found what I needed in another table...I just had to learn how to link tables and it all worked out. Thanks for the response!

    I think the field  Bin in the 'Assembly Serial Lot' table is nothing but the Bin Number.
