Issue In Job and Material Issue

I have an issue related to job and Material issue

Scenario is, we have creating a job based on only based on 3 situation either from Sales Order/project/AMC (only 3 cases). In Some cases all the materials are not known at initial stage. So later the warehouse team will add the item into this project based on Sales team instruction. But that particular item was supposed to be in stock for another project.

There are creating for job planning lines—Process—Create job Journal lines.

How we can bring a Workflow, whenever they are creating a new line of item on particular job, before they doing the posting(Should not allow to post) - approval should goes to Purchase team
Once job is completed and status is changed to completed , then only designated user can able to reopen it
If any of the item is brought to our stock, then it should not allow to add that item to any project.

Am requesting experts help and advice on this to solve these 3 issues .

Unfortunately, workflows related to jobs do not seem to exist in the standard functionality.
I checked all workflow trigger events and could not find any job related trigger events.

This means that the BC standard workflow cannot catch posting events in job journal and also cannot catch that a line is added to the job task line.

So, your requirements #1 and #3 cannot be achieved with the standard features and need to be customized.

Your requirement number 2 can be achieved by using the security filter for the authority set. You can design your own permissions as you like. The following image shows an example of designing an permission set that allows modification/deletion only when the status of a job is Completed.

items comes into the stock based on 3 cases only(as i mentioned above),so it will be mentioned in the ordering the item itself. so in that way is there any option to block the usage of that item until Project head is releasing that item into normal stock?

if we disable the permission of posting for that users, is it workout in our scenario...(Any other alternatives) for track and restrict those

am not much aware in BC..so pls request you all to guide me achieve the best outcome in these scenarios.

Hi, I agree with Kawamura that it requires you to discuss customization with your partner.
These functions are not present in the BC standard.
