Automatically create & confirm PO from Purchase requisition

Hello,

Is there any possibility to create a batch job which will be run overnight and will create and confirm Purchase orders from Approved Purchase requisitions?

Please advice.

Dear Joni,

1. You can create PO from approved PR with the help of purchasing policy.

2. In the case of automating the confirm of a purchase order in AX 2012:

Procurement and sourcing>> periodic>> purchase orders>> confirm purchase orders.

a. Selected the "Late selection" option.

b. Clicked the "Select" button and selected the status "Open order".

c. Clicked the "Batch" button.

d. Checked "batch posting".

Configured batch options

Labeled batch name, set recurrence options, identified batch server.

Click OK to exit the batch processing form.

Click OK in the "Confirm purchase order" form.

Dear AX_Dev,

You can create it with below navigation

Procurement and Sourcing>Setup>Policies>Purchasing policies

Then click on purchase order creation and demand consolidation>> manual purchase order creation. And then Automatically create purchase order. create policy and enter the expiry date.

I would like to clarify one more thing.

When batch job is added to queue in task --> Class name I see "PurchFormLetter_PurchOrder". Is that class only used to confirm the Purchase orders?

What exactly that class is for?

Yes the above class is only called for confirming Purchase orders. For packingSlip , Invoice we do have seperate classes.

Hi Potturi,

After Completion Of purchase Requisition then Batch Job for Automatic Purchase Order Creation Then after batch job the purchase order status is changing to Approved.We want it as Draft as to continue.Purchase order Workflow.

Please Help us Potturi.
