RM Aging Process runs very slow

Working with a client and when she runs the RM aging process it will sometimes take up to 2 hours (about 426 pages) - she normally runs it to pdf so I had her run it to screen and it still ran pretty slow as well - but somedays she will run it with the same number of pages it just takes a few minutes - I ran a DEX SQL LOG and I found that this process seems to be looping over and over

    We were able to resolve this - we went to Paid transaction removal and got a duplicate key, we found 2 transactions in the RM10101 and RM20101 tables, we removed from the RM10101 and then Paid transaction removal worked which in turn sped up the RM Aging Process

    Two additional points: Make sure your GP database is optimized with a daily maintenance plan: Rebuild Index, Reorganize Index, Update Statistics. You can also create a nightly job in SQL to run the Aging for you each night using this script:

    USE <Your database name>

    DECLARE @O_iErrorState int, @I_dAgingDate datetime

    select @I_dAgingDate = convert(varchar(10), GetDate(), 102)

    EXEC dbo.rmAgeCustomer 0, '', 'þþþþþþþþþþþþþþþ', @I_dAgingDate, 127, 0, 0, '', @O_iErrorState OUT

    SELECT @O_iErrorState
