Hi,

We are having an issue with our billing team using incorrect tax codes.  Is there a way for me to inactive the Tax Detail IDs that we no longer should be using?  It looks like I am only able to delete the old ones, but I worry we may lose some of our history.

I believe, you may not face any issue(s) with history records, but if you want to add this again in future, you may run into issues, as detailed in that post.

You may want to try on test company before doing it on production.

It is not possible to disable a Tax Detail, but you can delete it if it not used in a Tax Schedule.

Before deleting any Tax Detail be sure you don't have any unposted sales transaction.
