RMS and Mercury/Vantiv Gift Cards

Does anyone use Vantiv (formerly Mercury) for Gift Cards and Credit Card processing?

I am having a problem on certain POS systems where the gift card interface will not prompt you to swipe a gift card for activation. It will basically let you complete the transaction without activating the gift card. I have run into this multiple times on multiple RMS POS systems. The interface always seems to install fine. Some machines complete the transaction fine, others will not activate.

Has anyone ever run into this before? Thanks in advance
