Limit Read (viewing) Permissions for Specific Fields within Table data for users

Hello,

We are using Microsoft Dynamics 2015 and are trying to limit specific users from viewing specific fields. I have looked into Permission Sets but I don't want to limit the read permission for an entire table, just a field.

An example would be:

Under basic permissions, the read permission is set to YES. If we drill down into the security Filter of Item Ledger Entry, you can see all the fields listed with in this table. If I wanted to limit read access for No. 4 Entry Type, how do I accomplish this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

In NAV out of the box permission set it's not possible, for specific field wise if you want to give permission then for that you have install 3rd party application i.e. Field Level and Data Security. From this application you can give field wise permission for every user.
