How can i upload or use Test-Toolkit into SaaS Business Central without using docker

Hi,

We are trying to create a testing app for a BC SaaS environment.

We are not using dockers.

I tried installing them from the DVD (as if we were installing an On Premise environment) but we are getting a message that there is an App with the same app ID published with Global scope, to use the Extension market place to install it.

When I search for them on the extention market place, I only find the Test Runner one

Where can I find the other 4 (Any, Library Asssert, Tests-TestLibraries, System Application Test Library)

Hi Daniele,

This is one of the first thing I tried but it doesn't work

I added "test": "21.0.0.0", to the app.json but when I download the symbols I get this error message

The request for path /v2.0/XXXXX/dev/packages?publisher=Microsoft&appName=Test&versionText=21.0.0.0&appId=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000&tenant=XXX failed with code NotFound. Reason: No published package matches the provided arguments.

The path is different compared to the application package and I don't know why or if it could be the reason

Sending request to api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/.../packages Application&versionText=21.0.0.0&appId=63ca2fa4-4f03-4f2b-a480-172fef340d3f&tenant=XXX

Any idea?

Hi Amit,

The link mentions the same dependency to add in the app.json file "test": "13.0.0.0"

which doesn't work.

We are looking at building a test app that will be installed on a SaaS environment that the client can run on their own.

Is that even possible?

Hi, Have you tried the command below in PowerShell ? This will download all app files even if they are not displayed on page.

Download-Artifacts -artifactUrl (Get-BCArtifactUrl -country jp) -includePlatform

I have all the testing apps already, the issue is that I can't use them in a SaaS environment.

The goal is to build a testing app, for a BC SaaS environment, that the client (user) will be able to run on demand when they want to test prior to a Microsoft update.

They want to be independant in doing it, not to have to rely on an external developer.
