After posting POP - Retrun transaction entry using type "Return" I observed that it doesn`t have any impact on stock. Do we need to make manual stock adjustment after making any Inventory Return Transaction???

Inventory vs Inventory w/Credit only affects whether the firm will expect a credit memo from the vendor.
A return in POP should always reduce the quantity on hand unless the PO had the item marked as a non-inventory or drop ship item. Neither of those would affect inventory, even if the status of the item changes after the PO is issued.

Thanks for your kind response. I just forgot to mention that I was talking about POP Return transaction entry and specifically when we select Inventory or Inventory W\Credit type of return.
Hi Tariq, yes, you would expect a SOP return to increase your stock levels.
Perhaps your 'Return Quantity Type' is causing some confusion? If you use a return quantity type other than 'On Hand', then this item will not be available for sale again untill you transfer it to being 'On-Hand'.
