POP receivings dates report

Posted on by 2,395

Hi, i have been asked for a report where the purchasing department can evaluate a vendor based on their shippings comparing the requested date, promised date, promised shipping date.

Is there a report that does this? or does anyone have a view they could share so I can make them a smartlist.

Thanks all in advance

Actually I just want to display the dates, I don't need a calculated field to display the number of days that has been delayed

If you want this in a Smartlist, you might use SmartList builder to create a calculated field with the difference between those fields.  It will be difficult to summarize multiple deliveries against one PO in SmartList and SSRS might be better (or Crystal)

Yes, the expedect receipt date is entered in the PO also the promised date, all dates are actually entered on the PO

This can only be done if the Expected Receipt date is being entered in the PO.  Then a report that averages the number of receipts and the difference between the actual receipt date and the expected receipt date would be needed.

I wrote this for a GP customer but it was 10 years ago.  The scripts are out of date.

BTW, this is a good metric on vendor performance.
