Why are duplicate work orders being produced from maintenance plans several weeks after the initial work order has been produced and already put into 'In Progress' ? The work orders numbers are different, and these are mostly meter based plans (hours, not calendar)
To clarify, the duplicated work orders first take form as 'proposed work orders.' If these proposed work orders are not revised one by one to see if there are identical any existing work orders, then they get 'firmed', hence duplicates. So it seems it's the maintenance forecasting process that may be at fault, or possibly a setting ? There are many settings within D365 and many of these are not self explanatory.
