GP Web Client - Limit to 1 session at a time for each users

I have GP 2013 R2 in my testing environment, which has 2 servers: 1 SQL and the other is a standalone for GP Web Client and its in an AD environment, of course.

GP Web Client is configured w/ Tenant Manager, so everything is working fine, users can access it.

So my main concern is when a user either closes a web browser or opens another web browser and when they re-enter into GP Web client they are given a choice either to "Connect to Existing Session" or "Create New Session." Not all users will pick the "Connect to Existing Session" but some will pick "Create New Session."

When they pick "Create New Session" I noticed that you can run an unlimited session for that SAME user (domain\a), which I don't want.

So how do I prevent them from creating multiple sessions in GP Web Client? I don't care if they click on either the 2 choice "Connect to Existing Session" or "Create New Session," I just want them to run ONLY session at a time just like in the Rich client (Desktop client version)

There is no way out of the box to do this. I guess I would just tell users to do it and it would be pretty easy to keep track of the users who aren't doing it. Sounds like a good product suggestions though.

I have been recently encountering the same issue and found no out of the box solutions as Jonathan states.

When I checked the session management, I found more than 10 sessions for each user, which was a total tragedy. I will have to throw a suggestion on MS connect to get this well controlled by the system administrator or configuration.

Meanwhile, a routine check for the session management could be a proper remedy.

Remember guys this is how Web Client was designed. I think really it comes down to how telling the end users how they need to close out of Web Client. This is the same thing I am sure you guys run into with customers that use Citrix and users don't log out of GP they just close their Citrix session.
