Hi experts,

Description of problem:
I would like to do a bulk import to create new worker records, preferably from an excel spreadsheet.

Only a small subset of our employees are currently in D365 and were all manually created.

I have the same question (0)

In D365, use Data Entities to import employees/workers. You can start with data entity 'Workers'. Excel is supported format. You can extract existing employees so you know what's the format... below link can help.

Once you have your template, then you can upload data back in the system.

    Hi Bill,

Do know that once workers are imported, they won't show up on Worker form, but instead on pending workers form. What you can do is then use another entity "Employment" to add valid employment and they will show up on workers form. Give this a try and let us know if you have any further questions.

You can use data management /Data entities to do that .  Worker related data present across multiple table . Hcmworker is primary table but you have employment , Position , Position details , WorkerPosition assignments etc. Data entities are present for all these tables, for example HCMWorkerBaseEntity , hcmemployment entity etc. You can find those in data entities list and use them to import them in sequence.

If you  dont want to use individual entities and use only one to import all the data in these different tables , you need a custom entity.

    Data Import and Export:
