Hi,

What our company is trying to do is capture a credit card authorization from Authorize.Net. We only have the authorize.net transaction_id and we have to do an http request to capture or charge the credit card.

Can I get some guidance on a quick solution for this? We are using Dynamics GP 2010.

I was wondering if its possible with VBA. I couldn't get VBA to compile using various VB http / webclient objects. And I've heard about dexterity but know nothing about it. If its possible to use dexterity could someone give me some links on a quick installation and implementation for this?

All I need to do is send a request and handle the response.

Hey thanks for the response. We don't deal with or store and credit card information, only the transaction Id from authorize.net.

I do not think the problem outlined in your post has a quick solution. A big part of clearing credit cards is compliance with regulations on processing these cards. You may want to take a look at the following link:

www.pcicomplianceguide.org

I would tend to recommend Nodus or KeCommerce for PCI solutions, depending on your credit card processing needs.
