How to prevent: Activity owner changes when record owner changes

Hello,

I'm working with a client for which I created a custom activity. The activities are owned by the person who did the site visit, regardless of who owns the account or Opportunity the activity is related to.

However, if the account/opportunity owner is changed the owner of the activity switches over to the new owner. I know this is expected behavior, but this client would like the activity to keep it's owner, even if the account changes.

Is there a way for me to opt certain activities out of that behavior?

Thanks!

    Hi Toni,

check account or opportunity to your custom activity entity relationship behavior.

I believe it is set to cascade all to assign, that is causing this issue..

You need to change it to cascade none.
