I am installing a client for Microsoft Dynamics SL7.0FP1 where de server is a Windows 2003 server an the client is an XP SP3 machine, and I'm getting this message Dynamics SL has encountered a problem and needs to close.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

I got the same error from a Windows 2008 server when I tried to install a Windows 7 client.

The .NET framework version is 3.5SP1

    I remember having this issue when just FP1 is installed.  There is a patch for this. The best way will be to install SP3 and then see if the problem goes away.

    Unfortunately not.  I'm sure its included with Dynamics SL 7.0 FP1 SP3 though.
