Multiple Ledger & Financial Statement Translation

Posted on by 235

We have operations in 3 countries: US, Brazil and Argentina. Currently all 3 are separate DBs. Can we move to a single DB and multiple ledger setup within which each company can enter transactions in its own local currency?

Can we use Financial Statement Translation within this single DB to consolidate from Argentina (peso) to Brazil (real) and then from Brazil (real) to our parent company US (USD)? In other words is multi-tiered consolidation possible?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

I am not exactely sure what you mean with Fin Statement Translation, but multiple consolidations are possible. You can create as many consolidation companies as you would like. And you can do as many consolidations as you would like.

A clarification: We DO NOT want to process documents (AP/AR) in the subledgers. Is this possible out of the box?
