Hi!
I have to re upload revised budget second time this year. Curious may it cause duplications somehow? I'm doing it in automated transaction import by using Budget Maintenance screen.

For every new revision you should check if "Rev Type" is either "New Amounts" or "Net Change".
"Net Change" indeed does add/substract the new budget amount to the one already loaded inside the project. "New Amounts" replaces the whole value.
If you intend to do a "News Amounts" but have the "Net Change" selected, the effect will indeed be that the values get duplicated.
Hi ANDREW
You can better calculate the sum of Budget amt based on accct, subacct, ledgerid & year.
And import the data through TI Process.
Hope this will help,
Thanks,
Just to clarify.
Whatever you import will become the new budget for the combinations of accct, subacct, ledgerid and year that you import. Whichever combinations exist in the current budget , and which are not included in the import, will remain and become part of the "revised" budget
My Apologies, I assumed you were talking about project budgets.
Everytime you import a budget for the same acct, subacct, ledgerid and year, it overwrites the existing budget.
So whatever you import will become the new budget.
Hi Coen,
I'm using Budget Maintenance(01.250.00).
Thanks!
Are you using the Budget REVISION maintenance screen in other words the project is set up on Project Maintenance Screen for "Budget By Revisions" or are you using Direct Budgeting Option?
