General Rule, create a backup first before doing year end process.

here is a solution which works..

before doing the year end process, go to FINANCIAL>SETUP>MULTICURRENCY.

    Muticurrency setup window will pop-up.

(Note:  make a note of what is your setup here, probably a screenshot will do for your reference later. Take note of what is in each columns: Current, Historical, Average and Budget)

Uncheck all the currency ID and pop-up window will appear "Are you sure you want to delete the translated currency information for tihs currency? Choose YES.

Do the year-end process. error should not show. then return to FINANCIAL>SETUP>MULTICURRENCY.

    Muticurrency setup window will pop-up.

Return back the settings which i mentioned to you note.

Hope this works for you ;)

Are you in fact using the Multicurrency feature of GP? If not, what happens if you go into your registration screen and uncheck the box next to Multicurrency?'

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
