While creating a trial instance, I noted the "Developer" type of environment. Appreciate if anybody could elaborate the purpose of this type.
Second question: What type of license is recommended for free lancers trying to create a new app/vertical on Dynamics 365?
Hi Sohaib,
Refer to the following link for more details about environemnt:
learn.microsoft.com/.../environments-overview
1.Developer type:
Developer environments are created by users who have the Developer Plan license. They're special environments intended only for use by the owner. Provisioning developer environments can be restricted to admins.
More information: Control environment creation.
The developer environment will be available as long as you actively use the Power Apps Developer Plan. More information: Power Apps Developer Plan
2.What type of license is recommended on Dynamics 365?
Dynamics 365 has many applications(Sales, Customer service, Marketing...) that have their own special features, Refer to the following Microsoft Dynamics 365 documentation:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/
If you are not sure, you can experience the 30-day trial of each app:
