    Hello,

    I found the problem . The problem was that  the Organisation version was higher than the DB Version.

    Hello Kahspot,

    I agree with Saurabh here and upgrading your CRM server to latest build should fix the issue as I had similar issue in past & upgrading to latest build of CRM fixed the issue for me.

    Hello Saurabh,

    It is CRM On-Premises.    Yes, I know that it is weird  but the user has a system administrator role and when he tries to assign Sys. Admin role to a user , CRM gives the error.

    Hello,

    May I know if you are using CRM online or on-premises?

    The above privilege appears to be specific to audit log. Since the logged on user already has System admin role, CRM shold not have complained about this.

    DeleteRecordChangeHistoryRequest Class ::

    "To perform this action, the caller must have the security role with the prvDeleteRecordChangeHistory privilege or the System Administrator security role, and access rights on the record specified in the Target property."

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.crm.sdk.messages.deleterecordchangehistoryrequest?view=dynamics-general-ce-9

    If it is on-premises, consider applying the most closest KB update to your current deployment version to see if this fixes this issue.

    Please mark my comments as answered if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Saurabh
