
Recently, i have come across the requirement where i need to capture 1:1 chats in Dynamics using Teams(as internal users) and Skype(consumer as B2C customer). I was using beta Graph API to retrieve the chats between teams users but not able to b/w Team and Skype users.
Any suggestion and help would be greatly appreciated!!
Hi Kumar, Dave @ Forever Group here I hope that you are well. A while back when we were evaluating Microsoft 365 backup solutions, one of the vendors we spoke to was able to retain Teams chat. I believe it was Avepoint. I'm not sure if they would treat Teams/Skype calls differently, but as with all things they may have an API that you can use instead of the Graph API to achieve the same objective to pull the chat data. As to then pushing it into Dynamics, I'm afraid I'm not sure. Perhaps reach out to Avepoint and see if this is something that they may be able to assist you with?
