Quality Process for Assembly Module of a Warehouse Location

We are using Assembly Module for posting output/consumption. All the assembly production is carried out in a warehouse location. How can we have quality process for a business scenario wherein if producing 10 quantities, out of which 2 of the quantities fails the quality check. The item which has failed quality check needs to be moved from actual production location (which is a warehouse location) to Damage/Defective Location.

I have the same question (0)

Hi, as far as I know, there is no Quality Process function in Assembly Module.

But as you mentioned, you can manage this process with locations.

For example, all the finished items are moved to the location to wait for quality process. After the quality process is completed, 8 will be moved to the normal location, and 2 will be moved to the damaged/defective location.

    You can use transfer order.

Hope this can give you some hints.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the response.

I understand there is no Quality Process in Assembly Module. Production is running in a warehouse location so If I create a new quality location that will not be a warehouse location. Any movement happening from warehouse location involves warehouse shipment and pick process, how to handle that as raw materials must be consumed in production location which is a warehouse and only finished good should be moved to damage/ defective location.

    Hi, how about using Bin?

    For example,

You can quickly change the Bin on the Item Reclassification Journals page.

    Hope this helps.
