Cannot get sitemap changes published! Any thoughts? Dynamics 365 version 8.2.2.1259. Used both the editor and XRMToolBox sitemap editor. I can see the changes and its saved and published. But nothing happens.

Is this CRM Online or OnPrem?

Have you tried clearing the browser cache before reloading the page?

If it's CRM OnPrem, can you do an IISReset as well and see if it fixes the issue?

    Regards,

    Radu

Did you trying using a different browser, using In-Private/Incognito mode or using CTRL+F5 on your browser?

Just checking to make sure it is not actually published...

This is weird. I would try one more thing, but I don't know how comfortable you are with trying to editing Site Map directly in Xml. I would create a new solution and just add the Site Map to it, and export it (and extract it).

Make sure you don't delete the original zip file. In case of an issue you can use it to overwrite the site map back to previous version.

Go to Sitemap editor and copy the Xml content of the Site Map and replace it with the one in your Exported solution so that the new Site map from Site Map Editor overwrites the one in the customizations.xml file.

Rezip the files in your solution, and try to import the solution, and Publish All Customizations.

If you are not comfortable doing this, then try upload your sitemap.xml or customizations.xml from above to onedrive and share it (if you can), and hopefully someone from the community can find out what is wrong with the sitemap.

Hope this helps, but this is one of those things that is hard to know the cause. The source of the sitemap can help...

    Hi Aric,

Great Idea. I am fine with XML. will give this a test over the weekend and post results. Working on accounting integrations next couple days, not as much fun.

    Hi Carol,

There is possibility of cache issue on your machine, still try with different approach.

    1. Export solution and change manually inside xml file

    2. Create sitemap changes on different instance and try to import it on your instance

    3. Delete i.e history, cache and try again.

    Regards, Pravin

I also faced the same today. Did the change published it but didn't see it getting reflected. Gave it try after few mins and I can see the change reflected.

    Must be caching things.

Faced the same again - made changes through  web application, xrmtoolbox, tried in different browsers and devices, cleared cache etc but the change didn't reflect. Checked it next morning all the changes were in place.
