We are capturning notes in the Canadian Payroll Employee Master table - CPY10100 table - there is a NOTE Absent / NOTE Present button - when clicked you are able to attach a NOTE to the file.

We can attach, delete modifiy and everything - but get it to print on a report.

First question - where is the actual note stored?

Second question - how do you get it to print on a report?

Really a taxing issue when it should be pretty straight forard.

I final figured it out - the SY03900 - the Records Note Master has to be linked to the Employee Master in the report design that we are trying to build. Once I got to the right table the rest of the link works just as expected.

Hey Bill,

If you are using the note functionality from GP (i.e. the one right beside the employeeid), the CPY10100 table captures the noteindex (noteindx), and this will relate to the noteindx field in the SY03900 table. The actual text from the field will be in the txtfield in the SY03900 table.
